It is pretty hot. 5 GOLD COOKIES
The first words that managed to form in my head were, Wow. That was amazing. The next were, What else have you missed out on by not asking? BATTER UP!! What a sweet, hot, game of a story!! And YES! I would game for cookies too, as long as my "cookies" were as amazing & hot & sweet & as perfect inside & out as Andi's! Or if they were named Isaiah and Kane! wink First up, I want to be clear about this - I am a paranormal gal through & through. I usually don't read books that don't fall under or near that umbrella. However between the cover and the blurb, I was so game to read this book! When I was about to start reading, I was tired and thought that I would read for a few minutes to relax. HAHAHAHAHAHAAA *wipes tears from eyes* I was so drawn into this GAMETASTIC story, that not only did I read more than for a few minutes, but I read & read until I reached “CONGRATULATIONS!!! You have COMPLETED the game!” Okay, fine, it really said "The End"! but it was totally Mission complete! Game won! Allyson certainly knows how to design characters that are not cookie cutter, nor are they Italian plumbers or speedy hedgehogs, although I do think that Andi is a peach. :-) HA!! I all but peed myself when Andi, Kane & Isaiah got to Vegas! Epic! Completely epic! *wipes tears from eyes for the second time* This book is so COOKIETACULAR & has so much going for it! There's humor, friends, love, betrayal, friends-with-benefits, hot HOT ahem gaming, guys who know how to push all the right buttons, cookies, and all with a giant leap of faith! One of the parts I loved the most about this book overall, well, it's also the one I can't tell you!! Well I could, but I think it would ruin the recipe for you! Suffice it to say that Operation Andi was started right from the start. The icing on top of the cookie, is one perfect design! This is my first time reading Allyson's books, and even though it isn't paranormal *wink*, this won't be the last!! Anyone who can draw me out from under my umbrella, who has me actually eager to get out of said umbrella, is an author worth finding a new umbrella. LOLOLOL What I am trying to say is that I ABSO-COOKIE-LUTELY LOVE this story and am eager to read more!! Not only in this story, but any and ALL of Allyson's books! She has tremendous talent and a sweet gift for creating stories that had me living it, seeing it play out, connecting with the characters, being Andi, and just so wrapped up in it I forgot that I was tired and wasn't going to read for longer than a couple of minutes! THAT is definitely an author worth gaming for cookies
