What’s enough for you? Where’re your limits? Take a deep breath, sweetheart. I know you’re capable of pushing the envelope. You wanna know how far I’ll go? What gives me a rush? You’ll Just have to find out for yourself, Mr. Emerson. WOW KYM! You Put a Spell on Me!! It’s not just a beautiful song! wink For the love of all that was holy!! What a WONDRISK story!! But... WHOA! What a horrible opening! Thankfully, it was quick, and the awesomeness took over! I guess he won't be getting his own story, like I had hoped!! *sad sigh* But on to better & naughtier times! WOOOWEE! What a helluva MAGICAL CARNAL RIDE!! I am not sure what I was expecting, maybe something more along the lines of the prequel Solstice Burn, but definitely not this! Which of course is what makes this book all that much more... more... more EVERYTHING! More engrossing. More naughty. More special. More dangerous. More… Just more! At first I was a little disappointed that Chase & Penny weren't really a part of this story, but they were quickly forgotten - Sorry Chase & Penny! - once I met Garrett, Lars and Selby! Again, I love, Love, LOVE how Kym tells her stories! How the focus is never superficial, the girls never worry about their body type, nor their hair, etc. which honestly impresses me to no end! Even if there is jealousy it's never because of one feeling inadequate in any way! Very refreshing! I love how enriched the story is, the depth to it, how the story is always moving forward with no dry, boring or "sleeper" parts. Even when you are learning about Selby's past, or about Garrett's business & Club Altura, it's almost always told by one character to the other. So while they are getting to know each other, it's so personal & intimate, like they are personally letting you into their life, secrets & heart too! Which brings me to this - Kym's FAN-ALTURA-TASTIC talent has me so ABSO-SURFING-LUTELY deeply immersed in the story I feel like I AM the story! I didn't just read the story, I lived it! I experienced it all with the characters, AS Selby, AS Garrett even! I felt their joy, nervousness, excitement and yes, I cried with, as & for them too! Unfortunately, the same is not true for the CARNALICIOUS parts. *sad, frustrated sigh* I need a Garrett of my own. Wink Having the chance to read all 3 books in this series back-to-back-to-back wasn't an opportunity I was going to pass on... even if it isn't my much-preferred paranormal and WOW!! Am I ever glad I took the plunge!! Kim is definitely one FINTASTIC author and I am ready to dive right in to the next book! SIGN ME UP! I WANT TO JOIN THE CLUB!! No sky diving though. Even though I do have a couple of Kym's Vampire books, this series is actually my first of hers that I have had the immense pleasure of reading, and I GUARAN-DAMN-TEE it will NOT be the last! If she can hook me so deep into a "contemporary" story - erotic or not - I can only imagine how VAMPTACULAR & FANGASMIC her Vamps will be!! wink

Are you ready for the rush? 5 GOLD KEYS
HOLY SMOKES! What a Wicked Rush indeed!! A Wicked Rush and threesome... I mean, and then some! wink I am ABSO-CARNAL-LUTELY blown away by just how WICKEDELICIOUS and deeply enriched this book - and series - are!!! If you think that this series would be light, fluffy even, with empty characters and all about the naughty only... YOU WOULD BE OH SO VERY WRONG!!! I was swept away with the tide by Kym's storytelling, completely enthralled & hanging onto every word! I love, Love, LOVE how every story is different, but in a comfortable way. These guys may work, play & stay hard, but they are all different in how they do… everything! The complex characters had me wrapped around their little finger, trusting them, believing in them and beyond thrilled & honored even, to not only share this part of their lives with them, but to actually become them, experience it all, live it all AS them! I fell in love with Lars in Carnal Risk and was hanging on to his every word with Braelynn! I would happily stay in his bed and wait for him – no handcuffs needed! and Brae? WOW! Everything she has gone through is horrible! And the other people all involved in this deception and blackmail and thievery… It kept ME guessing until all was revealed! Or at least for this book! Somehow I think that Lars could convince most any female to do his bidding – behind closed doors, in his pool, “their” beach and in public! He had me all wet & ready! *dreamily naughty sigh* Kym is one phenomenally talented & exceptionally gifted author!! It shocks me to say this about a non-paranormal book & series but I am consumed - mind, body, heart & soul! Having the chance to read all 3 books in this series back-to-back-to-back wasn't an opportunity I was going to pass on... even if it isn't my much-preferred paranormal and WOW!!
